Baby High Chair Review

Months ago, i was having constant self-dialogue for few days about deciding which high chair i was supposed to purchase for my little princess. The clashing ideas of practicality vs affordability vs quality was giving me a massive headache. Cut story short - fickle.minded.i.am.

After considerations, here's the chair that wins my heart (",)

Polly 2 In 1 Highchair

We bought this chair at Mothercare (RM645 less 5%) but i think you'll get more choices in Chicco store itself.

Why i love this chair? err macam2 la features dia. You can get the info from the website or this video down here.

Pelangi has been using this chair for the past 4 months. Frankly, it's one of my good buy. I use it as feeding chair also as TV chair. It's adjustability features and it's comfortness really caught me and mainly, easy to clean. But sometimes the bulkiness bothers in in term of dragging it from tv area to dining area. Luckily, it has two rear wheels. You see, i have a thing with bulky things. Saya suka benda yang besar dan gagah. If kurus2, keding2, kecik2 rasa tak selamat la.. typical lynda, paranoid sana sini. But after all, i'm one satisfied user! Cop Lulus la ini product!

Once in a while after feeding sessions, Pelangi would doze off while watching TV. So i'd just adjust the back rest.

Akikah & Berendoi Pelangi Arissa

The simple sweet affair was held 4 months ago on 10th of July 2011. It was on my birthday. When my husband asked me i wanted for my birthday, i said i want nothing except for a sweet akikah ceremony for my baby.

We started the preparation quite late, so agak kelam kabut but everything went smooth Alhamdulillah. My family offered so much help and we were very thankful :) The night before, my bestie(Jamie) came to help and hang out with us and so as our family friends came to make bunga rampai, help with goodies. We decided to have a lil 'buai' for berendoi. My idea of a very 'sempoi' akikah turn out to be a beautiful one indeed. Oh i'm a happy mom.

We booked Wedding Fairies for the lil buai. I came across their website and was totally hooked with the rainbow theme. So i told the owner Evi, i wanted the rainbow buai since my baby's name is Pelangi and she went 'seriously? that's so cute'. Such a lovely lady :)

We also had this pink arch to welcome the guests made by Wedding Fairies as well. Nice work kan?

We started the event around 11am -marhaban and berendoi. I was touched by dendang and syair during berendoi .Pesanan2 yang disampaikan, sangat menyentuh perasaan but i managed to act cool all the way because i couldn't afford menjadi bahan kutukan my husband for being so mellow on a beautiful day. Mean guy i tell you!

After dah settle berendoi and all, we moved to the most important part ---MAKAN ! Bliss :)

The caterer was Saba' . Why? My family loves Saba'. Lucky that Saba' is in cyberjaya, else i bet my family wouldn't even know where we live (",). Satisfied with Saba' just that the nasi a bit masin. They're so generous when it comes to food. We ordered for 250 guests but the food so banyak like 300 people can eat. They also agreed to send all the way to rawang. Awesome rite!~

We hired EyesOfGrace as the official photographer. The outcome was satisfying but few of my friends said it was not up too their expectations. Same goes to me, but obviously we can't compare kids photographer to wedding photographers and also for the amount that we're paying is not as expensive as wedding photographers kan. EyesOfGrace did the studio shoot very well but one thing for sure that i'd hire wedding photographers for future events.

I had a good time on that day, one happy birthday! Hubs and friends surprise me with a cake. Sweet. Thanks guys :) Seronok sangat dapat jumpa sedara mara, friends, ex-schoolmates, unimates, staffs, jiran2.. and most importantly i'm so happy that i managed to pull a memorable day for my little princess.

It breaks my heart

It breaks mommy's heart knowing the fact that Pelangi hates mommy's milk now.

Mommy always thought that the bottles are the issue. I bought every kind of bottles, feeding cup, whatever i can think of just to get you to drink my milk when i'm not around. Now that i know you only drink thru direct feed because you need the comfort, not the milk. and you drink so little. that's bad.

I've been feeding you since day 1 ,baby. and now daddy is talking about formula milk. It breaks my heart Pelangi. Mommy wants to feed you as long as i could. Please baby. Please Ya Allah, make my baby loves my milk and keep drinking like the old days.

Super Baby Food ! I want !

Today i'm sooooo going to get this book. Kalau tak jumpa kat bookstore, i'll just get the E-book. As for now, i've downloaded the application from the AppStore and i got many useful tips. Rasanya if i get to read the whole book, sure Pelangi will eat better kan?!. Susah sangat nak feed Pelangi these few days. She's like on a diet strike. Meal time surely buat muka sombong.. kalau dah lapar sangat baru la nak buat nangis gedik2 nak susu.

Look at some info i got from the Super Baby Food App :-

See.. i never knew about this. Every time Pelangi tried to grab the spoon aku akan bebel. Smlm i let her hold the spoon together with me and i taught her to direct it to her mouth. She loved it! Kejap je la.. then buat muka sombong balik.. duhh!

Beli ke tidak? Itu soalanya sekarang. I came across few articles saying most baby emergency cases rushed to hospitals disebabkan oleh dua benda yang i'm considering to buy right now- HIGH CHAIR and BABY WALKER. Adui!~

Currently, my lil girl is in exploration phase so macam kesian tak bagi walker. Then part makan pulak, as advised by doctor, makan memang tak berganjak la dari meja makan tu walaupun dia tgh sronok tgk tv, kena angkat jugak to dining table. So, i do really need high chair untuk memudahkan urusan makan2 cik pelangi !

Marhaban Ya Ramadhan

Alhamdulillah, sudah masuk hari ke-5 kita berpuasa di bulan yang indah ini. As a BF mom, i hope dapat puasa penuh pada tahun ni. Sebagai wanita, bukan senang nak dapat peluang puasa penuh di bulan Ramadan kan? Last year, was truly a nice experience first time berpuasa sebagai isteri and i was carrying my lil princess dalam tummy. Tahun ni dah bertiga, so double nice lah! Si manja tecik tu orang bangun sahur dia pun nak join, memang meriah la kan.

Fasting as a BF mom agak mencabar tapi kelebihan yang Allah berikan adalah susu sikit pun tak terjejas. Alhamdulillah. As for now, my supply masih ok. My mom yang risau2 takut Pelangi tak kenyang. Like all other ordinary family kami bersahur, berbuka dan berterawih. I'm far from my family which can only see them during weekends, and my parent-in-law tiada lagi bersama kami telah pergi menemui Pencipta yang Maha Agung(Al-Fatihah). Jadi, we tried our best to make our Ramadan very meaningful our own way walaupun hanya kami bertiga dan bibik aja yang ada dirumah.

Setiap hari untuk berbuka dan sahur, i cook all the lauk :) Me and hubs both prefer home cook. Tapi aku fail sikit buat kuih, wen't to bazaar ramadan putrajaya cari kuih but i ended up in frustration, balik tangan kosong.

Hubs all time fav. Kalau masak lemak cili padi ayam ni, tak masak lauk lain pun orait.

Obsesiku sambal belacan and ulam2

For sahur we usually have the same lauk panaskan, plus telur asin. Simple je janji isi perut. Malam we go terawih. Last year dah start pergi Masjid Besi so this year we decided to go there again. At first nervous jugak sebab nak bawa baby pegi masjid. Luckily ada bibik, i'll do the first 8 rakaat, then i jaga Pelangi, bibik pulak berterawih with jemaah 8 rakaat.

On the first night, kami sampai awal, so sempat la snap2 gambar sikit. Pelangi was too excited looking at all the bright lights.

Masjid Besi sediakan moreh for everyone. Kopi O/Teh dan kuih. So while waiting for bibik, kami pun sit and have coffee sambil main2 dengan Pelangi. I can see ramai family2 get to spend quality time bersama2 selepas berterawih. Tenang je tengok.

Terawih on the second night, after 4 rakaat, Pelangi pun start buat musical drama. Ahh gelabah. Trus i grab barang semua lari ke kawasan luar, where kids playing and also the moreh area. She kept crying sebab terkejut ape ntah BF pun tanak. Luckily i bawak penyelamat, bukak little einstein terus diam. haha.

Look at her, siap silang kaki macam kat rumah k. After few minutes, tiba2 banyak je kanak2 riang dikeliling kami nak join watch little einstein walaupun takde suara. Takpelah, janji diorang behave tak lompat2 lari sana sini kan.

Can't wait for the day that Pelangi bertelekung and join me in Saf. Insyallah :)

Ramadan kali ni, aku asyik teringatkan Arwah Mak dan Abah. Selalu terfikirkan tentang my SIL di Arau Perlis all by herself kat campus. I know, hubs sangat merindui mak dan abah but he just keep it to himself. Ya Allah, tenangkanlah hati suamiku selalu, kuatkan lah hati kakak dan adik iparku. Semoga Ramadan ini menjadikan kami semua insan2 yang lebih tabah dan beriman.

Abah dan Mak, how lynda wish Aidilfitri pertama Pelangi nanti, dapat disambut dengan her Atuk and Nenek. I can only wish, but Allah lebih menyayangi Abah dan Mak. Semoga roh Abah dan Mak dicucuri rahmat dan ditempatkan bersama orang-orang yang disayangi-Nya.

Last night after tidurkan Pelangi, i enjoyed my 'ME' time on bed reading the gossip blog beautifulnara guna ipad. Suddenly hubs came mintak pinjam Ipad sekejap which i know it won't be sekejap so i said "No!" So hubs pun join me reading the blog together. Then kami berdua pun tertidur... Then pagi ni bangun la sahur, we started the conversation about khairul fahmi and his fiance. Kebetulan last night terbaca.. terr la sangat.. baca gossip pasal diorang ni.. So i went ...

Aku : "You think patut ke dia putus tunang like that? If you jadi KF what would you do?"

Hubs : "Tak patut la kalau fiance dia tak buat hal.. but she's so open talking about her relationship to everyone. Macam dah bukan tunang je i tengok, macam peminat pulak."

Aku: " Salah ke dia nak jadi peminat setia fiance dia ?"

Hubs :"Kalau i football player.. i suka if my gf/fiance/wife tak minat langsung pasal bola. Senang hidup."

Aku : "A'ah la kan.. kalau dah minat sangat jadi macam riak pulak kan"

Hubs: "Tak baik kata orang riak. Kita tak tahu apa niat dia. Jangan cakap macam tu"

Aku: *_____* Sentap!!

See.. lain aku cakap.. lain dia faham.. Then aku terus bangun dengan alasan nak bancuhkan coffee for both of us and hubs perasan i was affected by his words.

Hubs: " Black Eyed Peas pernah datang Malaysia?"

Aku : " Yes. Pernah. I went to their concert."

Hubs: " Wow"

Suddenly he started singing

"Now, baby , don't you stop it, stop it"

Suddenly he stopped and said " Eh, macam lagu tamil plak bunyi"

I went laughing because seriously it sounded like tamil song. So dah tak sentap.

Aku : "Why are you asking about them? Are they coming to KL?"

Hubs:" Nope. They won't come anymore"

Aku :" Seriously? Why? Where u read about it?"

Hubs smiled and walk to the door while saying " too many rules la sini. Satu pakai macam robot. satu pakai seluar dalam. cemana nak datang?"

Aku: " for real? you baca kat mana?"

Hubs: " Erm.. tatau.." then he burst out laughing.

Sumpah aku kena kencing time pagi2 ni.hate it.

Up till now, i'm still wondering why on earth we talked about KF. Tak pasal2 dah sentap pagi2 subuh kan.. By the way, yesterday my sweet rainbow turns 7 months. She's a big girl now. Pelangi sayang, as your 7 months gift, Mummy akan siapkan your own nursery. A simple one, but the effort counts right? Hopefully dapat siap before Raya. I love you doll.

I love Adele. I listen to this every single day. She performs really well kan?

My husband current fav tune. He listens to this song many many times in a day and he forces Pelangi to layan the song together with him.

Look at both of us, layan lagu mcm orang tgh frust bercinta.. but the fact is that we're both happy Alhamdulillah.. kadang2 mmg kacau jugak jiwa but syukur to Allah, we learn each day to love each other in every possible way. Kalau aku jadi Adele, i would sing to my ex "Nevermind, I've found someone much better than you".

Sayang, this is my second Ramadhan as your wife. I'm thankful that our marriage makes both of us a better muslim - lebih mengenal Allah, lebih mengenal Islam. Terima Kasih Allah.

Sebagai ibu, one of our main concern adalah diaper area. Bila bersih, licin, no rashes and no redness hati pun senang. So i want to share some info yang saya rasa berbaloi untuk dikongsi bersama as currently i'm so in love with this product.

Baby Bum Balm from Buds

Sebelum ni, since my daughter dilahirkan, been using Diaper Rash cream from SebaMed but somehow after a long use the cream cause dryness and macam poop stain susah nak hilangkan. One day while browsing in Mothercare, tergerak hati nak try benda ni then macam naik syok dengan bau Baby Bulm Bum . It smells so good. The price RM42.90 (littlewhiz.com) - sorry dah lupa harga kat mothercare.

It's made of beeswax and some other things yang best2 la.. Why i love this product?

1) Cleaning poo is so easy. Senang je nak keluar all the yellowish stain sbb the wax protects the bum surface.

2) It smells so good.

3) Seriously lepas pakai product ni for few weeks, lembut je bum bum pelangi. Extra soft.

4) All the redness gone.

5) Jimat. Rasanya lagi 3 bulan pun belum tentu abis .

Cukuplah 5 sebab je i write here(",) It's just my piece of experience to share with new moms sbb dulu terkapai2 jugak la nak solve masalah diaper redness ni. Kalau moms out there ada diaper change tips for me please do share.

My Lil Rainbow

Recently, we had a studio shoot for our rainbow :) We hired Zubye from EyesOfGrace and we came back home smiling. Such a warm and nice person she is - a loving mom- so there's no issue for our lil miniature to give some cheeky pose for her camera.

Pelangi's wearing tutu skirt from Tutu Workshop http://www.tutuworkshop.com . I had a hard time finding her a nice tutu skirt in a short time. So they do sell a ready made one at Little Heaven The Curve but i would advise to take a look at Party Princess as i just saw them on rack for a much lower price with more comfy material but if you're looking for a dramatic high volume skirt, then tutuworkshop is a good pick :)

We put her in the bakul and this lil charmer so cool about it.

Sekarang ni seronok sangat hari2 nak pumping. Ni sure kenan daddy-dulu selalu kena denda pumping kat military school. *Ampun ye apak* :p

Ok. That's what i'm going thru right now and the Big Bully is my lil rainbow .

Lately Pelangi has ben behaving as if i'm her playground and all my organs are her toys. Hehe..

Suka2 hati si kecik ni picit hidung, tarik telinga, tarik rambut takyah cakap la kan, siap nak telan2 rambut mummy dia .. picit sana, picit sini.. adui... sakit okey.. but all i can do is just smile and say.. "adoi sakit la baby.. please let go*... hahah budget anak sendiri.. cuba orang lain buat camtu.. ada nak baby baby lagi.. ada nak please let go?? no way!

Last night, she discovered a new toy, my eyes. While i was trying to sleep which i thought she has already fallen asleep, suddenly rasa pedih yang amat mata ni. Trus i jerit "sakitnyaaaa Makkkkk". Hubs tengah buat kerja at his desk straight away came to us asking what just happended and i told her Pelangi korek biji mata .. like seriously this girl is so good at whatever she's doing la.. Hubs simply told me " start esok malam you tido pakai glasses la" .. nahh hambek.. anak punya pasal.. sapa nak jawab ni!~!

Daddy,

Mummy is writing this entry on behalf of our darling girl, Pelangi. She can't write you a love card or wish you verbally telling you on how much she loves you-not yet.So as her current bff, i think i should help her by telling you things that i know about her love towards you.

Daddy, when Pelangi arrived to this world, she cried oh so loud, even when doctor placed her on mummy's chest, she was still crying but right after you hold and greeted her with salam, she recognized you and immediately she stopped crying. She stared at you like telling 'My Daddy is here, i'm safe'. Right at that moment, i knew, she's going to be Daddy's girl.

Daddy, during her first three months, Pelangi paid so much attention to you. She respond to your voice, acts and jokes. Very less effort needed by you to make Pelangi smile so widely, just because you're her favorite person. I have to confess that i cried at times just because i don't get the same attention from her.

Daddy, you were never a good singer *no offense dear, truth hurts but i can't lie about this.. haha* but you never fail to amuse our daughter with your lullaby - that you compose yourself.. !!??!! That's epic. She'll only go to sleep if she listens to your singing. She's so degil tak nak tido if you don't sing for her.

Daddy, at night, when pelangi shares the bed with us i noticed she'll move her hands just to reach out for your hand or body then she'll go back to sleep again. She is so in love with your touch.

Daddy, when you're not around at home, our girl never fail to practice all the skills you've been teaching her. All the sticking out tongue, bubbling, making sounds, batting eyes,rolling over takes so much effort and practice but she managed to imitate all that- why ? because all she wanted is to impress you.

Reason i'm telling you all this is that i want you to remember how Pelangi adores you more than anyone else in this whole wide world.

I hope you'll always be her most favorite man even when she's married with 5 kids (",). hehe.

Morning all. I'm still in the sleepy kingdom but hubs pester me pack and get ready as we're going back to see my mom this morning. Mom is leaving to Ipoh to visit my aunties and uncles so she wants to see her lil cucu manja first before her short trip. Without any doubt, my mom loves Pelangi so much which sometimes leads to mother-daughter jealousy! Aha! My mom sometimes act like a possessive boyfriend or incredible stalker!~ Why do i say so?

Sometimes if i'm wayyyy too busy **lazy** and missed her calls for one day - i'll end up being in a big trouble as she would give me one 'good' smacking lecture and semua drama like 'kenapa tak bagi mak cakap dengan cucu mak' will start. Oh yes my family is full of drama that's why i love them so much!~

Every morning Mom would open up her phone and stare at Pelangi's picture (Pelangi picture is the phone wallpaper (",)) then she'll start greeting,singing,selawat and say all the nice words for my lil princess. Isn't my mom the sweetest??

When Pelangi is cranky and crying at night, then she's informed about it, she'll immediately recite Yassin and many Surah for Pelangi's well being.

She would scold me everytime i hold my blackberry or laptop - smiling to myself while tweeting or bbm-ing just BECAUSE Pelangi is not fully attended by me.. ok i have to admit, this is a kill sometimes.

Every weekend when we go back to see her, she'll check on Pelangi from top-to-toe. At times i rasa seperti a child abuser or bad mom :(

In the middle of the night, if Pelangi cries, Mom will be in front of the door within the first few minutes. Amazing !~

There's so many other sweet lil thing that mom usually does to express her love for Pelangi Arissa and most of the time, i became the victim for not catering her criteria of being a great mother. Truth, i don't mind at all being scolded by my mom as i know she did all that just because she loves my own dotter, my Pelangi. Kalau anak orang lain sumpah hangen!~ Boleh jadi kes lari dari rumah key!~

I'm grateful for the love she receives, as Pelangi has only one grandma to share her happiness and sorrows, to cheer her during gloomy days. How i wish my MIL is still with us that Pelangi would get more love and get to be pampered by 2 grandmas. Hubs always remind me of how lucky is our daughter for getting so much love from my big family. Allah sangat adil :)

Baby Bathing Story

Bathing is a must for everyone and my lil girl definitely enjoy her bathing time so much. As a new Mom, i have few bathing stories to share. I faced some difficulties about bathing but hey hey hey, listen up.. i'm an expert now *batting eyelashes with a huge proud smile*!! Bathing time is even better than big McD breakfast on bed or having a quick date with James Franco * AS IF AS IF.. berangan la kau lynda!~*

Here's few amalan mandikan baby during my pantang days.

= During confinement, i never mandikan baby di bathroom sebab licin and sejuk.

= Di antenatal class, we were taught to bath baby atas meja, seriously sangat senang if u mandikan sendiri while standing-won't face problem with stitches and bengkung but i was too scared sebab tak pandai so takut jatuh.

= I mandikan di lantai, my mom alas with old quilt yang tebal so if let say licin dan tergelincir baby will never hit lantai keras. (hope this licin or tergelincir thingy will never happen to anyone).

= Use foam bath support-easier for me to handle newborn.

= Temperature air rasa dengan siku if takde thermometer.

= Mandikan baby in the morning before 10a.m (this is petua from bidan).

= If orang lain mandikan, either me or my mom or husband wajib monitor so that i'd know if anything went wrong.

= After 30 days baru i amalkan mandi 2 kali sehari, before that mandikan pagi and lap seluruh badan in the evening.

= Siapkan semua bathing and changing items before start mandikan my baby.

When dealing with first born, semuanya nak serba lengkap and cantik.I bet all you mothers out there just the same as me kan kan kan? Jangan nak denial sangat!~ haha. So i bought a complete Baby Jungle bathing set from mothercare for Pelangi Arissa . As i can say, the price is considered as affordable and sangat practical.

Baby Jungle Box - Wise buy. Sangat mobile dan easy for bathing and every diaper change. I can store 10diapers, 7lampin, 5 pasang baju, water spray, wipes, lotion, diaper rash, cotton balls, cotton buds ,nail clipper and thermometer. This box makes my life easier. I personally prefer this box type compared to bag - it's tightly covered so habuk and insect takleh masuk.

This is the bath tub, just the same as other tub but it has plug hole. As for me, a bath tub could be anything as long as it can retain water and safe. Pakai besen cuci kain tu pun okey. Tried it once when i was back at hometown and Pelangi loves it (",)

Top n Tail bowl for any small washes between bath time.

This is the foam bath support.I put this in the tub and baringkan baby on the foam while one of my hand supporting the neck and shoulder. Sangat useful for new mommies and dads :)

Cuddle n dry hooded towel. Comes in 3pcs. Soft and highly absorbent. I bought the green one instead of the pink with the idea if my second baby is a boy so can still use. Came home and told hubs of my niat suci murni and waiting for him to praise me on spending money wisely. Instead, he said "Don't be so cheap nak pass on towels. You should have the same thought when we were shopping for bigger stuffs!!! * Denggggg...em so stupid * It make sense. A good-kejam sense by the way hubs.

For bathing toiletries, here's my personal review:-

Sebamed Baby Bubble Bath - very good. Pelangi faced minimal body rashes problem.

Anakku Shampoo - I tried Sebamed shampoo and also Buds top-to-toe but her scalp rashes didn't get better. Anakku shampoo is only RM4.50 and my problem solved. Big yeay for Anakku !~

Sebamed Diaper Rash Cream - i recommend this to everyone. Shoo good lah :)

Sebamed Baby Lotion - Smooth, tapi kurang wangi. Thinking to try other brand.

It is very important to take extra care of umbilical chord until it heals and separate from the umbilicus. Use alcohol swipe to clean the clipper after each bathing.

Pelangi truly loves the baby massage i learned during antenatal class*At least someone is appreciating my masseuse talent! teeeeeeettttttt*. I was so thankful to hub for recording the bathing and massage technique taught by the nurse.I bet hubs already knows that his money for the antenatal fees will go to waste if he doesn't record things for me. I would use all the 'urat putus sebab beranak' excuse for forgetting everything! **Oh please woman!**

Would love to share the video here, but i think it will be improper and unfair for the hospital kan. But if any of you friends would like to have the video from me, can just ask ya. Will give it personally.

I admit that at times, i felt so tired, so lost and incapable to be a good mum. I'm learning and Mummy knows, you are learning as well. I'm missing my mom. I miss her terribly :( Why ? First, sebab dah three weeks tak jumpa and secondly, i can't sleep because of the back pain that i'm having. Now i feel like slapping my own face for saying NO to the Maternity Body Pillows when hubs offered to buy at The Curve haritu. Konon nak jimat la kan, inilah namanya jimat tak kena tempat.

I kept on wondering how on earth my Mom managed to have 7 babies and i never heard her complaining about anything except for our attitude yang memang dasyat!~ haha. Plus, while she was carrying me, my father wasn't around to attend to all her pain, cramps and all sort of pregnancy symptoms. She endured everything by herself and still , she never complains. The thought of my Mom's strengths and patience always keep me sane and strong. I"m trying my best here and i'm grateful that my husband is always there for me.

My pregnancy walking towards 7 months now. To be honest, i'm enjoying my pregnancy even though the first trimester was a kill !~ ergh!~ But seriously, it's truly a good life changing experience. I learn to be a better and stronger person. I don't know about other pregnant lady out there but to tell the truth, the motherly instinct and affection starts to grow in me which kinda hard to believe. Haha.. syndrome anak bongsu sukar dikikis ya! There's something that you can't describe in words about being pregnant. I never felt alone ever since i mengandung. Wherever i go, even if driving by myself, i always felt like ada companion. Ada teman ~ my baby.

Let's talk about cleaning. I bet most of pregnant lady suka mengemas kan? Most of my friends did share the same experience. Seriously, i become so good at cleaning the house sejak pregant, pantang nampak sepah.Bukan setakat cuci baju, dengan washing machine tu skali aku cuci. Haha. Hubs gave all the credit to my baby as he said, his lil baby in me rajin dat's why i tak reti dok diam. Haha.. see all the attention and reward starts to beralih arah. Talking about cleaning kan, i'm having some doubt about hiring a maid now. Should or shouldn't i hire one. Any suggestion of good agency ?

Oklah, i think it's best for me to try to sleep but before that nak finalize to-buy items for our baby since this weekend we're planning to do some baby shopping. Believe it or not, satu barang baby pun belum beli and everyone is making a big fuss of it. All i have now is only three bodysuits i bought from a friend even before i knew i was pregnant. Kesian anak aku !~ Nite!~

Selamat Hari Raya Everyone (",). Wow, it's been ages since the last time i post anything in here kan. Herm.. the last one was when i just found out that I'm pregnant and sekarang, I'm already 24 Weeks and 6 Days Preggy, 2nd Trimester. Alhamdulillah.

The reason for being lazy and menyampah nak online kan, erm, blame the hormones please. Sumpah sangat malas nak menghapdet fb or blog sendiri dan malas nak tengok hapdet orang lain. I heard it's a kind of syndrome yang ramai mom-to-be pun lalui. So i'm not the alien ya!~ hihi.

Sempena bulan yang mulia ini, i would like to wish all my beautiful and gorgeous friends Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Maafkan semua salah silap dan terlanjur kata. I love you guys.

Al Kisah Album Kahwin

Mai sini maih.. nak crita sikit pasai album kahwin saya.. dengaq nie(Uhh feels like going back to Kedah).. Ramai tertanya2 tentang album kahwin saya.. "mana album Lynda?" or "Album kahwin dah siap?" or "I want to go to your house nak tengok album kahwin" -jawapan saya "NO, tadak lagi" which selalunya come with reaksi muka yang masam melampau!~ bukan sedih sebab album 'yilek' but dah penat jawab kot. You know.. it's just the same feeling as orang tanya "Are you eating for two?" okie fine.. itu pertanyaan paling sentap aku pernah dapat.. korang pernah?? I know i eat a lot and i'm gaining weight ridikelesly fast as if i'm consuming Weight Gain but hello sayang.. listen. i'm a human. bila orang kata i gemok.. i sedih!~

Truth is, my album stucked at Jakarta for months as some of you guy dah tahu, my official photographer dari negera sebarang. It wasn't their fault sbb i yang sangat lembab untuk memilih warna album.. juga keputusan untuk perkara2 kecil. Bila album dah siap, again my mistake sebab salah inform date my relative coming from Jakarta. Woot woot, that is soo Lynda. Hampa!~ Hampa.. at first Rock asked me to fly to Jakarta, ambek album then balik sebab aku teruk dihentam oleh my darling family. I don't blame them, they're just excited nak tengok adik bongsu yang comel dan bulat ini (*like i don't know they're eager untuk tengok gambar sendiri dalam album..vain kaaan*). Ooohh.. it's been ages ( more than 2 months) since the last time i wrote my heart out in here. Kenapa? Busy?... yes... Malas?... yes.... Penat?... yes... !!!~ Kepada yang tertanya2.. atau suka keluarkan soalan sentap seperti.. "baby sihat?" haaa... memang sentap. No good news yet!~ Belum ada rezeki ~ *ayat reply sentap jugak*. Hoping and wishing. Pray for me yah!~

I was too lazy to blog also for the reason i gained10 fabulous kgs after my wedding. Nahhhhhh. Hambekk.. so i was quite lazy to take pictures due to 'living in denial' reason.. so kurang aktiviti yang boleh dipamerkan-sebab gemuk. Ridikeles kan.. Tapi tapi tapi.. Whatdehek... i'm chubby and now i don't care. Running away or hiding won't solve any problem. So.. hear me people.. i'm back. yeah.. the chubby Lynda will be spilling her wild thoughts and random imaginations over here-My digital punching space.

This month i'll be writing about my wedding and honeymoon since i was too lazy to write about them all previously. Yeah!~ Kalau ada yang malas baca and rasa i nie pengantin basi.. fine fine.. go read blog orang lain.. fine fine.. * seriously merajuk gets so ugly lately with extra 10kgs*..

New Year at Traders

Happy New Year People !~ Owh it’s already 2010 and the new millennium celebration which was 10 years back still fresh in my mind. I was the sweet 15 years old gal celebrating new millennium with my gorges guy friends/ my study group mate/my neighbors. Fakhril, Yusri, Arwah Dude/Firdaus, Ashraf and Fiszal. I can say they were my best guy friends ever during high school days. We had a study group session that night and my mom allowed them to stay until New Year which we celebrated the night with Bibik Sutirna’s special coffee. Haha. We were talking about the speculations, predictions and rumors that people has been talking about new millennium. Heshh~ those were the days when u think you know it all but all you is actually pieces of crap. Hahahaha. I had I great teenage life. So what kan!~

This year celebration is quite different. No more single night out * berangan Lynda.. u never had single new year night out pun** My mom sangat particular about going out during New Year 'sEve sebab too many drunk drivers on the road kan. But this year , this married-in-denial gadis welcome the year 2010 with her beloved hubby.

Tuan Besar was invited by his client to celebrate New Year at Traders Hotel. So, 2 days before the event sayang decided to book a hotel room there to avoid traffic jam. Too bad, most hotels around there (Traders, Impiana, Mandarin Oriental, Niko and few others) semua fully booked. Yang tinggal suite ribu ribu ringgit. Gile!~ tetiba otak i yang agak geliga nie terus teringat Corus hotel as Aima once mentioned to me dia pernah stay situ and the hotel is quite okay. it's opposite Restoran Nasi Kandar Pelita Jalan Ampang. So i told my hubby and he asked me to call to try our luck. Yeay, kami memang bertuah. We got ourselves a deluxe room for just RM300 (murah okie ) tapi.. 2 single bed + view tak cantik langsung + no breakfast.. ahaha.. such a turn off. But it's okie, janji dapat overnight somewhere there rather than nak harung traffic jam.

The party, the talk and the laughs ended at 2 a.m. Perut lapar lagi, then we headed to Nasi Kandar Pelita for supper. Gendang gendut tali kecapi, kenyang perut senang hati. Balik hotel tidur sampai tengah hari. Haha.

Wedding Crasher Pt 2 - Adura & Jack Wedding

Hi to my digital world. It's been quite a while i didn't make any posts yang menarik. I've been wanting to write more about me loved ones big day but uhhhh... setiap hari busy bangetttt. capek dehhh... *slap me please for being so lazy*. Sekarang setiap hari i dah mula ikut Tuan Besar pegi office as he wanted me to tag along sebab kalau tak ikut, he'll miss me so much *Deng!!~ Sila tampar saya sekali lagi ** dia suruh ikut sebab suruh buat keje la.. buat ape lagikan.. haha. Janji dapat gaji .. boleh shopping.. eh tidak tidak.. boleh menabung. Aku pun sejak kahwin dah quit from family business and makin gemuk sebab menganggur.Bagus anak Aunty Fatima nie. Rajin rajin.

Okie back to beautiful reality people. I've shared with you guys in the earlier post why i like school holidays so much kan.. and this school holiday means a lot to me as my bestie-s got married. Bukan hanya satu.. tapi dua. They are like my best-est girls. I heart you both so much Jamilah and Adura. I've splashed the details of Jamilah's the greatest-sweet-love-of-mine 's wedding kan. So now, mari hiburkan hati bersama wedding Adura (Dewi Cinta) & Azharizaq ( Jack).

The Akad was held on the 5th of December which falls on Jamilah's Reception day. My biggest apologies to Dura babe for not attending your Nikah as you know that i'll be dead if i don't turn up as Jamilah's pengapit on that particular day. How i wish to be at both places at the same time ( drama murahin tak** ) haha. love you doll. But but.. on the 5th evening, my Tuan Besar drove me back to kl to reunite with my gorgeous Wangers to celebrate Adura's big day. Her reception day.(In my heart tuhan sahaja yang tahu i had to leave my bestie Jamie which still has another majlis on the next day but i know definitely i have to be fair and also dying to see Adura in her wedding dress. She's among one of the girl that i first became close with in campus. We've shared lots of good and bad memories. We've shared many failures and successes together. She witnessed my love journey with Razi from the start. So tell me, why she doesn't deserve my presence at her big ceremony right??! She does. And it is a blessing to see you walking down the isle Adura.

The event took place at Dewan Komuniti Bukit Damansara. It was a relaxing, beautiful wedding and very contented with love and joy. Who'll get her mother and aunties to go up the stage and sing for her?? She got that okie.. and ahh.. that's one highlight of the event and sangat memorable. It was so beautiful and lovely.How i wish my mom sings for me.(*Mamita aku memang sangat pemalu **)

Silly me for crying at the airport this morning. Tuan Besar is away from home. Away from me.Work is my biggest enemy for 5 days since it separates me from my hubby.

I wont get to see your face for 5 days.

I won't get my hugs for 5 mornings.

I'll definitely miss your arms for 5 nights.

You'll miss 5 breakfasts,5 lunches, 5 dinner and 5 supper with me.

Who'll laugh at my silly jokes for 5 days. It has always been you. I miss you.

Now that you're just away for 5 hours and God help me to walk thru the 5 days.

Theater Natrah & Night Out

On the 8th of Dec, which was last Tuesday saya bersama My Young Noah and Wangers went to Istana Budaya to watch Natrah. My dear wangie Zahrah got us the tixxie earlier .if not sure melepas since i heard the tickets sold out. It wasn't a musical play. A carries a big message and a great sorrow of a lady called Natrah or Maria Hertogh . Religion conflict, love, sacrifices, desperation was part of the game. Truth, i truly enjoyed the play.Besides the reason of Remy Ishak yang membuatkan saya sangat teruja, i had a good time watching it. Even my Tuan Besar yang agak ragu2 dengan teater melayu at first had to agree yang the theater was good. Sofia Jane dan Samantha Schubert is my star for the night. I adore their act very much.

When i was a kid i had a great affection towards school holidays for the reason of LEISURE. Even so now, but for a different reason. Wedding Wedding and Wedding. Owh yes, i bet everyone especially at my age gets 3-5 invitations for school holiday weekends kan? But this year school holiday means so much to me as my dearest best friend just tied the knot on 4th December 2009. How on earth we would ever know that we wd get married in the same year ya.

My Young Noah is a very busy guy. The busy here is super-duper-tahap-tgaban punya busy. But hellOo, there's no exception as this is my bestie's wedding. I pestered him to take leave and go back to Kedah few days earlier and he gave me Wednesday. Thank you Sayang. All i can say it was a sweet beautiful wedding. The theme was white & pink & lilac (sorry babe my baju is not so very lilac tapi it compliments the baju of pengapit lelaki kan kan kan ).. Hee alasan. Everything went on smoothly on that day, and she happy. Itu yang penting.

Urinary Infection & Pap Smear

Oh Oh, title pun dah tragis kan ? Inikan badan yang menanggung sakit. Okeh.. let me share sedikit sebanyak masalah yang dihadapi oleh pengantin yang tidak berapa baru ini which bakal pengantin or pengantin or wanita2 lain patut mengetahui sedikit sebanyak tentangnya. Kepada yang rasa diri ini bukan lelaki atau kurang pasti tahap kelakian anda or husband, kakak atau abang kepada penulis blog ini, sila tutup browser dan pegi sambung kerja anda.

Last Saturday, i did organize a small bridal shower for my beloved girlfriend Jamilah. Fun of course was the main ingredient (we'll get to that later). Tapi, selepas pulang ke rumah, on that night itself i felt not very comfortable at the lower part of my body which u guys paham2x sendiri la kan. Wee-wee pun sakit(wee-wee adalah bahasa yang agak sopan untuk k*nc*ng). So i just ignored it and went to sleep. At 7a.m in the morning, rasa sakit nak wee-wee lagi so i went to get my business done, but this time sangat painful and i notice i urinate blood. Damn. Nak gugur jantung. So apa lagi, my hubby dragged me to clinic immediately.

The doctor did some urine test and she said it was infection. Got blood and protein. She said the bacteria was the cause of the bleeding (bacteria ada tangan2x yang mencengkam dinding bladder/whatever i dunno, that's why luka and darah) Terus aku bayangkan iklah Harpic toilet bowl yang selalu tunjuk bakteria2x ugly melampau tu.The doctor said there's many factors yang contribute to this infection (tandas awam, sex ,kurang air, kurang bersih, macam2 lagi la). I never had this so i rasa sebab aku baru berkahwin so senang kot terdedah dengan kuman2. kan kan kan. She gave me some antibiotics, Ural and ubat air ape ntah satu lagi tu.Seriously, sangat sakit and ngilu okeh. So pesanan di sini, guna wipes anti-bac lepas guna toilet awam. please please.

Mari ke story no.2 pula. Yesterday, i went to Pantai Hospital just to accompany my Mom and my sisters for their mammogram test and also my sister had an appointment with her gynecologist-Dr Mashitah. She has been my sisters gyne for years and she also knew me quite long already since adik manja sorang ni yang rajin temankan kakak2nya berjumpa doctor pakar wanita mereka. Eww macam geli ayat. Okeh, lets continue. Dr Mashitah for me is one of the best gynecologist ever. Setiap tindakan or procedure she will start with doa and will teach us to recite doa2x untuk permudahkan setiap procedure. I bet she's one of the best in Kl and highly recommended. Nampak je my face, straight away she said to me "Ha.. pengantin baru. You should have your first check-up by now since this is the best time". As explained by her, wanita yang baru berkahwin should have their first Ultrasound screening test and Pap Smear and continue for the following three years(once in each year). If everything okay, then we can do it every 3 years. My mom and sisters pestered me to do the test yesterday so i had my first Pap Smear and Ultrasound Screening Test. Ouuuchhh.. sakit.

Dr Mashitah starts with the Pap Smear, she uses some tools but she told me she uses the small one for me. It was quite painful tapi sekejap sahaja - tak sampai 5 minutes.

The doctor continued with screening test.She inserted the ultrasound transducer and you can see everything in the screen and that is how i found out that i have introverted uterus(my uterus slightly tilts back). 20% of women population faces this problem. Some might face pregnancy problem but some not. Dr Mashitah told me not to worry as this problem-(introverted uterus )cud be solved by a 45 minutes surgery. Besides that, alhamdulillah, there's nothing to worry.

Hee.. i went home dengan secebis kebahagiaan di hati. Insyallah.

He was really good to put me in a 'serba salah' situation where he created the scene of 'dining with his clients' so as my respects, i shud just obey, tutup mulut and ikut. no songeh. Sayang, nice one! but remember, your kacang hijau is so good at revenge.

Pre - Wedding Photos-Bandung

Vintage 50-an . Our pre-wedding photography theme. It was a very last minute plan yang juga telah membatalkan my 1st bachelorette party dan menghampakan rakan2ku yang sangat manis.*Sorry girls* Oh yes, i'm very random. We decided on doing pre-wedding shoot in Bandung so that night we purchased tickets and fly the next day. Pakaian kami hanya disewa, it was very convenient and cheap. Nak baju apa pun, semua ada, just tell them the theme and u got it!~ ahaha...

We hired Imam Samtoso Photoworks for the pre-wed dan juga untuk majlis perkahwinan. The outcome was very satisfying even ramai yang bertanya after selesai majlis because we displayed the pre-wed pictures in frames ketika majlis berlangsung. Some of my friends planning to do pre-wed over there as well. Seriously, we had a great time during the photo shoot. Biasa la kan, sekali sekala berangan jadi artis. *Bluergh-muntah kejap*. Okeh, let's peekie-peekie my piccas. Kalau suka, puji. Kalau tak suka, DIAM.hehehe.. i mean it!~
